If you think you are receiving the visitor push notifications with a delay, meaning you receive the visitor notifications some time after the security approves your visitor, it might be a problem with your device's network connection.
It’s important to note that when a security officer approves a visitor for a resident, the EIQ-Connect system sends out a notification immediately. However, if your device is experiencing connectivity disruptions—such as being in a Wi-Fi dead zone at home or while on the move—the notification may be delayed. It will only be delivered once your device re-establishes a stable internet connection.
Unlike some applications that buffer updates in the background, time-sensitive notifications such as visitor approvals through EIQ-Connect may appear delayed if your device isn't connected reliably. While these delays are usually not noticeable for general app usage, they can become apparent when real-time updates are expected.
